Sen. Clay Scofield
Senator Clay Scofield was first elected to the Alabama Senate in 2010 and was re-elected in both 2014 and 2018. He represents District 9 which includes all of Marshall County and portions of Blount, DeKalb and Madison counties. The Republican Caucus unanimously elected Sen. Scofield as Majority Leader February 2021 after Senator Greg Reed was elected President Pro-Tem. Senator Scofield graduated from Arab High School and then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Business and Economics from Auburn University. Senator Scofield resides in Guntersville and is a poultry farmer.
