Sen. Greg Reed
Senator Greg Reed was elected to the Alabama Senate as a first-time candidate in 2010. At the start of the legislative session in 2015, Senator Reed’s republican colleagues elected him Majority Leader of the Alabama Senate, where he served in this role until 2021. At the convening of the 2021 Regular Legislative Session, the Alabama Senate unanimously elected Senator Greg J. Reed to serve as the new President Pro Tempore of the Alabama State Senate. He currently serves on the Local Legislation Jefferson County Committee.
